A Passion For Flowers

Since I wasn't able to photograph the unveiling of the picky little Stargazer Lily, I thought I would show the transformation of a Passion Flower that I took a few years ago. This one was happy to oblige unlike some others.

Hey that was alright! Do you still have those flowers? Do they come back every year? Middle sis

This was a potted plant that Connie gave me one year. Not supposed to be hardy in this zone but I think Frank used to have one that he left outside in the ground all year. Unfortunately mine died. I really liked it too.

mine is still alive, but the stupid thing starts growing too late in the season to get any flowers.

Plant the stupid thing closer to the stupid house so it gets warmer faster.

what you meant to say:

"Plant the stupid thing closer to the stupid house so it gets warmer faster, stupid."

So I guess you saw the original comment before I decided to change it. You have to admit that it was funnier than the second one.

Hi, I remember these growing wild in the pastures when I lived in Alabama. Very unusual flowers.

I didn't know that these grew wild anywhere. How neat that would be to see.
