flydragon-I am just loving the heck out of your posts. I can't wait to see what you capture next. Those little birds are so darn cute! Were you sitting outside just waiting on something to snap a shot of or did you take this from inside? Either way, it's a great picture.
Too funny, especially with that big jay trying to blend in. If we don't get some rain soon, I think I might actually like to join them. (I would behave, I promise!)
Thanks Susie, I was inside. This short sidewalk leads right up to my back door and there was no place to hide outside. So I hunkered down on the kitchen floor with the camera peering through the storm door window and waited. Didn't take long because a gentle sprinkler is irresistible to most birds. I was hoping to get more of a variety but I think it was too close to the house. When the sprinkler is farther out in the yard a lot more birds come but it's too far for me to get a decent shot. I'm not very camera savvy. Maybe I should read the manual.
D-G, Blue thought if he stood on one leg the sparrows wouldn't know who he was. Must have worked because they ignored him. We haven't had any rain either, so we can both join them. Hopefully no one will be peering out their window with a camera.

Looks to me like the Blue is thinking about picking a fight:-)??? Did that happen?
Have been missing your 'thoughts.'

Nan,
Nope, blue behaved himself and just enjoyed the shower.
I noticed you've been absent.

Fave,
Think I have too much time on my hands?
What a treat for the birds. Like Magic Waters for birds only.

Marnie,
A treat for them, and for me. Maybe I should set up a little slide for them. I can see it now, lol.
