I know, I know, the first line of this little ditty has been used a million times before but I’m using it anyhow.
It’s a dark stormy night
In this spooky old town
The thunder and lightening
Keep crashing down
Winds are a howling
Streetlamps go out
And there's too many monsters
Around and about.
So run to your homes,
Lock doors and windows up tight
Because goblins and ghosts
Abound on this night.
There are witches and ghouls
Hiding here, lurking there
But the scariest spooks
Are up in the air
What???…. in the air????
Yep, one of those uglies is me.

You have way to much time on your hands!!!! Get out there and rake those leaves already!
I know which (not witch) one is you.
Fla Brat
A spooky poem. I'm really getting in the mood. Those are great balloons!
Sounds a little like Little Orphan Anne Comes To Our House To Stay. I know which one is you but when was that taken? Middle sis
I forgot to bad to don't have a picture of you when you were the green which. Middle sis
fla brat,
No need to rake today, as the 40mph winds are doing a pretty good job of it. Good thing you're not calling me a witch.
Marnie,
Thanks. I used to play around with photoshop quite a bit, but now I can't remember how I did anything. I'll have to start all over one of these days.
Betty,
That was when I worked at Marriott. I won $25.00 for that get up but it cost me $30.00 to make it. I'm surprised you remember the green witch. That was my all time favorite.
Okay, that is a great poem! Did you write that? If so, then you're a poet, and I didn't know it! (LOL) I'm cracking myself up down here!
I've been cold all day, can you tell?
So if one of those is you, then who are the others? Is that what people look like on your planet?
Susie,
Yes, I'm afraid I did write that. It's not one of my better ones. Come to think of it, there are no better ones. :) Why are you cold down there in Miss? Get down to the 60's today? You want cold, come up here, brrrrrrr.
DG,
The other two are my sisters and we are the good looking ones here, so you can imagine what the rest of them look like. Ewwwww.
I beg your pardon missy, I woke up to a temp of 31 on my back patio. Tonight it is suppose to be even colder. I know what you're thinking, wimp, right? To which my reply would be, you betcha!!!
I can't help it if I have thin southern blood!!!
wow!!!
witch is you? o i mean, which? :)
Susie,
Yep, 31 is pretty cold. We haven't even had a freeze here yet. You want to come up here and get warm? :)
KALI,
You had it right the first time...witch :)
nice job with the photoshop! not too shabby with the poetry either. i know which witch is you... that's the one that haunts me in my nightmares.
am i old enough to remember the green witch? i kind of think i do. or maybe that was just your normal self.
NVAM
Your nightmares are haunted by a lot worse than my witchy face.
You should remember the greenie witch. You just didn't think I looked any different than usual.
lol, very good!
Love the poem and what you did with the pics on photoshop! I'm still learning how to use photoshop. I have two versions, Elements 2 and Limited Edition 5. I actually prefer the Elements because it is more user friendly and they don't come with instructions, at least not when a friend gives you the software!
Take care
Lisa
oldcrow,
Thanks, it was a fun post.
lisa,
I used emements 2 on this one. I like that program too. As I said though, I have to re-teach myself, because I've forgotten how I did it.
Very nicely done..both the poem and the photo! :)
Thanks Farside,
I wish I could remember how I did it:)
Airy-scary!
David,
Very Good!! I wish I had thought of that one:)
Grat post! Love the floating pumpkins! Mine are a bit different!
A sky watcher too!
