Some are very good at blending in, happily going about their business, feeling safe and secure in their ability to get lost in the crowd
Until some dodo with a camera comes along, accidently gets lucky, and blows their cover

Dodo, I think not! Just a passionate gardener who loves wildlife. :) That's a butterfly I haven't seen. How pretty and it does blend in very well with the 'crowd'.
"No one here but us yellow flowers! Move along...."
Beckie,
You'd be suprised how many times I've been called a dodo. Usually by my own self, because others are too polite to say it to my face :)
D_G,
After I published this post, I was re-thinking it as I normally do and I actually came up with that exact same sentence minus the word yellow, but I figured I'd screw it up if I tried to change it so I let it be. We thought alike on this one, it just took me longer.
You were always good at catching on when one was trying to blend in (especially when we were growing up and trying to get away with something). Oh, brings back memories (mostly of NVAM getting caught)! Heheheehehehe
Fl Brat
Fla brat,
That's because I remembered what I tried to get away with when I was a kid, so I knew what to look for.
I guess he couldn't find the butterfly bush. You sure have patiences. Middle sis
B,
Hey, I couldn't even find that pathetic teeny tiny butterfly bush this year and I knew where it was planted.
But it sure feels good to be "accidentally lucky" when you get great shots.
TC,
Yes it does. Now if I could only spell correctly.......dodo
That's a great picture and what a pretty winged surprise!
Thanks Susie,
I have no idea what it is. I know a monarch when I see one, but that's about it.
